This policy describes how Importly collects, uses and protects your personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection law.
Data controller
The data controller is Erwann Gatinel (EI). For any question regarding your data, you may write to contact@importly.app (or to the data protection officer: contact@importly.app).
Data collected
We collect only the data strictly necessary to provide the service:
- account data: name, email address, password (encrypted), organisation;
- billing data: subscribed plan, payment history (card details are processed exclusively by our payment provider and never pass through our servers);
- usage data: imported and processed files, cleaning profiles and rules, technical logs;
- technical data: IP address, browser type, connection timestamps.
Purposes
Your data is processed in order to:
- create and manage your account and provide the service;
- manage subscriptions, billing and collection;
- provide support and ensure the security of the service;
- comply with our legal and accounting obligations.
Legal bases
Processing is based on performance of the contract (providing the service), compliance with legal obligations (billing, accounting), and our legitimate interest (security, service improvement).
Recipients and processors
Your data is never sold. It is accessible to our technical sub-processors acting on our behalf, in particular our hosting provider and our payment provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.), strictly within the scope of their services and under appropriate contractual safeguards.
Retention period
Account data is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship, then archived or deleted. Imported files are kept for the time needed for processing and then deleted according to your plan limits. Billing documents are kept for ten years in accordance with legal obligations.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data. You may exercise them by writing to contact@importly.app. You may also lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL — www.cnil.fr).
Cookies
The site uses only cookies strictly necessary for its operation (session, authentication, security). These cookies do not require consent and are not used for advertising purposes.
Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures (encryption of passwords and traffic, access control) to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.
